filing a petition to cancel the marraige

My friend's husband is NRI and we did a court marraige in June 2023.now got the marraige certificate. they stay in separate countries after the marraige. can we cancel the marraige by filing a petition

Yes, your friend can get the marriage cancelled executed by her with her Partner by filing a Mutual Divorce Petition in the concerned Family Court of the State , where the Marriage has got registered.
