Filed for divorce against my wife 2 months
12-Aug-2024 (In Divorce Law)
I filed for divorce against my wife 2 months ago . However after talking to my lawyer he says that my wife didn't appear in the hearing. The case status shows as "First order".
My lawyer is saying he is not sure if my wife was served notice and looking to file application to send notice on email id and/or phone(Whatsapp).
I was wondering if it is possible to track if the notice was served to my wife? Can she deny accepting the notice? Or is it possible that my lawyer is trying to misdirect me?
