Falsified data in respect of date of birth of bridegroom

Sir, i was married in year January 2024 ,the biodata sent to us was having year 1989 as bridegroom's birth so we matched horoscope as per the said year, but after one year of marriage i came to know that bridegrooms actual date of birth in his educational certificates is 1983 so i got shocked and feeling cheated so please advice me the legal remedies i can exercise for this falsified date of birth issue.
A discrepancy in the groom's date of birth post-marriage could amount to cheating/fraud, if it was intentional and influenced consent. You can also seek annulment under Section 12(1)(c) of the Hindu Marriage Act or claim civil and criminal remedies. Clarification and evidence are essential before initiating legal action.

Ur marriage has been solemnized on the basis of fraud as the date of birth has been deliberately managed in the horoscope .As such for the false date mentioned and communicated to u through horoscope before marriage ,nothing can be done to correct that .However if u want u can proceed to take legal action such as filling divorce on ground of marriage solemnized on ground of fraud.
