False and uninvestigated DIR filed after divorce

Can a Domestic Incident Report be filed 1.3 years after separation and that to without verification and investigation? Can a DIR be filed after the ex-parte decree of divorce on cruelty and desertion under section 13(1)(ia)(ib) without investigation, enquiry and verification by violating Santosh Bakshi Vs. State of U.P. ?

yes domestic violence is a continuous process which many fail to realise and proper technical reasoning if sorted then there will be orders in favour of wife as well as compensation can be soughted too in this regard

if the DIR is tainted or manipulated then it can be challenged before the revision court. moreover the judicial precedent has to be followed strictly. in your case DIR seems misplaced to the extent that it doesn't lie after dissolution of marriage and without any investigation.
