Exparte Decree of Divorce, Re-Marriage Eligibility and circumstances.

Hello, I got my Exparte Decree of Divorce from my wife on Nov 2021, with following comments from court:nOrders pronounced in open court (Vide separate order) In the result, the petition is allowed ,dissolving the marriage took place between the petitioner and respondent on 10-02-2019 by a decree of divorce. No order as to costs. nCan some one explain the meaning and what is my next step on it and re-marriage eligibility?

Your marriage was dissolved and you are eligible for re marriage and if you are not satislfied with divorce order u can file an application to set aside the decree which was passsed ex parte to set aside the decree of divorce

You obtained exparte decree. there is a chance to the respondent (your wife) to approach the court and ask for set-aside the decree and proceed further against your petition. Hence, you should wait a period of one month from reciept of the Certied Copy of the Decree and Order (Judgement) and latter you can do whatever you want to i,e, remarriage, removing her name from your records etc.
