Section 65B of the Indian Evidence Act has been replaced by Section 63 of the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023. The BSA's Section 63 has requirements for admissibility of electronic records that are similar to those of the Indian Evidence Act, but with the addition of the phrase and an expert. The BSA also introduces a specified format for the certificate required under Section 63. This certificate is divided into two parts: Part A, which is completed by the party presenting the electronic records, and Part B, which is completed by an expert.
