Engagement for the divorce is final

Hi my cousin she was in a relationship with her boyfriend for 11 years and then they both decided to get married. They both got married in the year 2021 with telling anyone (register marriage). Recently our family got to know about this situation and they’ve successfully managed to get to our side. They both were living separately and my cousin works in Banglore. Now after getting her back we managed get her engaged with other person without taking any divorce and 1st husband not giving divorce.

hi its better to take divorce from the 1st marriage lawfully from the court by filing petition stating that they are not compitable and perform the 2nd marriage as it would create problems in future as not taking divorce is illegal
