Emotionally unavailable, no financial transparency, misbehave grounds

Hi, There is hardly any communication between me and my husband. Even if I try to initiate a conversation he is irritated most of times. He will start shouting for no fault for mine, or if he is confronted for some answers. He is aggresive in behavior, and I have seen him raising hands on ppl at times. He will do fault finding with everything and try to demean me. He wanted to mortage my wedding jewellery without telling me what he is going to do with that money. Whether we stay together or seperate he makes no effort to communicate with for weeks or months in some scenarios. He is expecting me to take every responsiblity and he doesn't want to be part of any thing as a couple. Are these sufficient grounds for divorce?

Yes all these tantamount to mental and physical cruelty. You can file for divorce and can also claim maintenance and other legal rights as per law. For any further legal assistance please feel free to contact Thanks

If there is no scope of any marital relations and you want to move forward with divorce then the facts you mentioned in your question is a sufficient ground of divorce as they come under cruelty as stated under section 13(1)(ia) of the Hindu Marriage Act. Shouting and even not talking is also cruelty.
