11-Jul-2024 (In Divorce Law)
Dear Sir, Once trial court pass an order in the DVC, directing the respondent ( husband ) to provide the residential accommodation to the petitioner ( Wife ), how the petitioner ( Wife ) can get the order enforced under DVC Act. Does the Petitioner ( Wife ) can herself implement the Trial Court Order / direction or Is there any procedure mentioned in DVC Act for the implementation of the Residential Orders. Please explain. Thanks

If your husband doesn't give your residential rights then you can always approach the same court with the complaint regarding the same and ask for police assistance to do the same. And if there's no scope of living together then it's advisable for you to apply for mutual divorce because it's cost effective and ends up in maximum of six months.
