DV Case filed by my Wife (Now-Ex-Wife) after 2 Years 6 Months 24 Days

18-Feb-2023 (In Divorce Law)
24/04/2014 Married From 26/05/2014 No Cohabitation Ex-Wife Staying With Her Parents - Divorce was Granted on 23/12/2020 Other Case was dismissed on 07/03/2022 Under Order 41 Rule 3a CPC Under Section 125 On 20/12/2016 Wife Filed for CrlMis Under DVAct Under Section 12 After 30 Months 24 Days (2 Years 6 Months 24 Days) Under DV Act Its 7 yrs now my lawyer joined with opp lawyer he applied for retirement & the case is in now back to Notice stage where my own lawyer has sent Notice for our family members, its been 7 months & just dates are given. For how many dates Court can give dates for Notice? When her evidence was supposed to be done, I did not ask any questions or cross questions, I am waiting for the Judge to give orders so that I can appeal in High Court. But my own lawyer supporting opposite lawyer & sent retirement delaying, Some Lawyers say after 1 year of no cohabitation the DV Case is not maintainable & some say after any no. of years one can register... What do you suggest..

what you have done in deciding not to Cross examine her when there was an opportunity and waiting for orders so that you can I feel in High Court he is not a tactical more. DV case can be file delayedly there should be a reasonable explanation for the delay.
