Domestic violence act Only on father in law and not on husband

I had an love marriage me and my husband are totally compatiable and husband is a central govt employee but my father in law regularlly visits us and impringes on our personal life and privacy and causes mental harrasement is there any legal remedy to it .can domestic violence act be filled only on father in law because i dont want any case against my husband who supports me a lot and i want to continue this marriage.

yes you can file a domestic violence act against your father in law and take a protection order that he should not visit your home or have any type of communication with you. you have to take your husband into confidence and file the case only against your father in law as it is not necessary that in every case husband also should be involved.
