Do I need to pay maintenance to my wife now

My wife filed sec9, I filed sec13 1 ia. Court counseling failed. I am not ready to continue with her. No kids. She was working women before separation(feb2022) earning upto lakh per month. I have private job. Now she is not working from last 2years. still she get maintenance if she ask court? Any specific time period if she was not working, will get maintainenace to her?

If there's no scope of living together then rather stretching the relationship you should file for contested divorce under the ground of cruelty. I would suggest you to go with mutual divorce because it's cost effective and ends up in a maximum of six months. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

Sir you have to give maintenance but if you prove that she will able to maintain her alone then you can tell the court that she is very well earn and i was not able to give any maintenance please consult a good advocate and take all legal knowledge and strategies from him
