Divorce taken in USA, divorce papers need to be submitted in India ?

My son and daughter-in-law got mutual divorce in America. Should the divorce papers be registered/subimitted in India too ?

If both the son and daughter in law got mutual divorce in america, then the divorce papers need not be registered/ratified in India.
only if one of the person does not agree that the foreign court divorce is invalid, you need to contest in indian court.

Dear,

No. The MCD obtained in America need not be registered in India as it is mutually done with the consent of the both the parties and the decree is very much valid in India. The parties can remarry if they wish to on the basis of the divorce.
