Divorce notice rejected by wife and presently in evidence pet stage

Sir, my wife left me 5 years back. So I decided to file for divorce on grounds of desertion. My first divorce notice is returned as door locked and my second divorce notice is rejected by my wife,so we have set exparte and we were asked to submit evidence petition. Now my wife is threatening me that she will file counter during evidence petition stage. Already my wife is harrasing me and my family by deserting me and also not giving me divorce. Now she is threatening me that she will delay the case and went give me divorce. Pls guide me how to stop her from filing an counter. My case is due on first week of March. Pls guide me on urgent basis

so here ur wife is having knowledge about the case. secondly when she was set exparte by the court then if at all she wants to contest the proceedings then she has to file a petition to set aside the exparte order along with counter. so already u have filed the case. if at all she files petition then it might take some time to obtain divorce for u

There is a procedure under law and everyone is bound to follow it. When your wife has rejected the notice there ends the matter, as she was given an opportunity by the court to put forth her defence, now you can in your counter to her setting a side of exparte order bring to the notice of the court along with appropriate evidence to prove her attitude and demonstrate her cruelty towards you then explain the court her ill intentions to delay and drag the matter only to harass you. You have to only defend but cannot stop her.
