Divorce in Intereligious marriage

am 29 yr old Hindu female married to a 36 yr old catholic male. We married in Dec '17 in a Hindu crremony. For sone reasons we kept delaying getting registered through special marriage act. However I want to separate from my husband as he is alcohol addiction is getting worse. He has phisycally and emotionally abusive towards me. Moreover I have incurred a huge debt since he lost his job twice in last 2 years owing to his am 29 yr old Hindu female married to a 36 yr old catholic male.
