Divorce for a marriage that is not registered

I want to send a divorce notice while my marriage lasted only for 2 weeks and marriage is not registered.
The family I got into seems to be ill moralled and not a decent enough family to live with. I have been beaten once by my Mother in law and abused verbally by my sister in law. The family seems to be male dominated.
whether registered or not any marriage in India can be dissolved only by a court order, but in both instances you were assaulted by women . One thing you have to bear in mind that your wife is not responsible for what other women did.
