Divorce filing, child maintenance and custody

I m a mother of 6 month old girl child. I am a victim of domestic violence, and verbal abuse. I m married for 2year 6 months. Please tell what will happens to child custody and child maintenance if I file for divorce.

Hello Maam, in case you wish to go ahead and file for divorce in that situation, the child custody will surely remain with you. That is the mother they are not required for any separate case for the custody and for the child maintenance you have to file a separate case in which would be claiming the maintenance for the child.
