Divorce Filed From High Court How Much Time It Take To Get A Decree

Hi i filled for divorce way back in 2022 got numerous hearing in 1 year but the opposite party didnt turned up to court on any hearings..now i got the request from the high court to fast up the hearing and come to a result in 6 months ..just want to know if the opposite party doesnt come on hearing dates ..how much time will it take to get a divorce decree or if they turn up on hearings will the case be resolved in 6 months or will take take more time...reason for divorce non consummation of marriage

If you have filed a contested divorce then obviously that will take time. In case the opposite party fails to appear then he/she can also be declared as ex-parte and all his/her rights to defend will be closed. As far as the concept of 6 months is concerned it's applicable in mutual divorce only. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

If opposite party comes while trail is going then they need to show delay of their appearance …thenceforth trail will go as per the proceedings and trail takes time ! Nothing gonna happen in 6 months in such trails

In you upcoming date of hearing and mention in the court kindly issue the non bailable warrant against the opposite party and after that the opposite party will start appearing and get divorce immediately. You can connect with me for more information.
