Divorce file by husband in his hometown

Hi all legal advisor,
Greetings,
i want to confirm,can husband has right to file divorce petition from his hometown,if husband-wife was not lived together also marriage was done another city. can wife has right to dissolved divorce case on behalf of these two aspect. if they lived last time in different city. let me give explained in details-if husband hometown is uttrakand and wife's punjab.marriage was on delhi,and they lived together last time in delhi,can husband has right to file divorce case from his hometown,also wife has right to dissolved that caee on behalf of marriage was on different city with lived together in different city. please advise.
