Divorce certificate for removal of spouse name from passport

I have got the 100Rs. Stamp paper signed by my ex wife and now I need to remove spouse name from passport, but they are asking for divorce certificate. And now she is separated and there is no contact now. What should I do? Please guide me
you have to submit the divorce decree to passport authorities to remove your spouse name otherwise it's impossible to remove, the affidavit or stamp paper are not credible documents, you have to apply for divorce legally even though she separated from you.
