Divorce as friend not able to adjust with her husband

One of my female friends got married recently (Hindu) ,she agreed to marriage due to pressure , she was in love with other person before marriage. Now she is not able to adjust with husband and husband is getting burst sometimes due to her past situation and also refusing the divorce . Husband also said that if at all she wants divorce , she has to replace with another good girl it seems. Her parents are in worst sitution whether to take divorce or not .please provide your suggestion.

Better to take mutual consent divorce as it seems that the marriage is not working out and two human beings are suffering for no fault of them.
if the husband is not willing to grant mutual consent divorce, the wife alone can file for divorce.
What the husband is asking (replacing with another girl) is a joke. Probably the husband is not aware that wife can file false cases like 498A, Dowry, Domestic violence etc which is more likely to harm him.
For mutual consent divorce, period of separation is 1 year.

Your friend can approach the family court and file the divorce on the grounds of cruelty by the husband. Let her husband be counselled in family counselling centres but if he is not willing then he don't have right to disturb the life of your friend. She can file a divorce case.
