I live in Australia and he lives in India. nWe got married on 2021 July. nHowever, I have been here since Nov 2021 except for 5 weeks last December.

You have to appoint someone in India to represent you by way of a power of attorney which you can execute in Australian High Commission/ consulate and send across to India to the Attorney that you have chosen.
