But now my grandma wants maintenance from her husband. Could she file a maintenance petition against her husband after 8 years? My grandfather filed divorce petition against her but she hasn't got Notice can be get EX parte divorce? Is there any limitation period for filing maintanence? What if he gets ex parte divorce and after will she be entitled for maintenance?

Maintenance simply means the amount which is paid to the wife after divorce for her sustenance and well-being. ... As per the Hindu Marriage Act, divorce maintenance is about the husband providing financial support for his wife's living expenses
u can get maintanence

your grandmother is entitled to maintenance even after divorce.
but if as you said no notice received by grandmother for divorce there can be no ex parte decree passed.
She should appear in the divorce matter and also seek maintenance as interim order and then parmanent maintenance. can also file seperate maintenance petition.
need more details for better advice. thanks
