Desertion by husband for 24 years

I have a female friend who is married for the last 28 years, and the husband is not living with her for the last 24 years and his whereabouts are not known. What remedy is available to her? His in-laws are also not traceable.

hi she could apply for divorce on the ground of desertion and that he is not responding to yout calls ot messages and that thete was no contact among you both and also she could file a missing complaint in local police station

you ought to have mentioned that what type of remedy you are seeking in this matter. you also not mentioned to children had she? and where is residing (at inlaws house/parents house or somewhere else? what about her husband/in laws properties? has she lodged any complaint with the police as to missing/non tracing of her husband/in laws? If her husband left her to her fate, there is a remedy. if she is interested in not to continue
