If she’s not attending the court proceedings then you can always obtain an ex-parte divorce from the court. Contested divorce takes time and if you are not interested in continuing the marriage relationship then no one can force you to do it. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

As such there is nothing called quick divorce ! Mutual one is not easy n early as compared to contested one ! Look for a settlement if possible! else you only need to contest n face the trail I’m the court !

In your case ,if your wife is not appearing in the court hearings then the court may pass an ex-partee order. Once an ex-partee order is passed the court will decide the matter on merits . However , the situation here is she filed a case for restitution of her conjugal rights which is section 9 of the HMA. In order to fasten the procedure I will need some more detailed explanations of your matter .

based on the situation you are in, you may need to file appropriate applications for expeditious disposal of the divorce case filed by you, or else your case may linger on in the courts for eternity. if the trial court does not decide your application, you may move to the higher court. but you will need to keep trying or else your case will be stuck in courts for years.
