Daughter in law harrassing Parents in law. Refusing to leave property even though earning more than husband. Can we cut electricity and water connection? Husband paying all bills wife paying no bill. Property self acquired by father. Religion of Husband Jain and Daughter Hindu
First of all file a written complaint to the nearest police station of your area regarding your grievances. And if the property belongs to you then you can do whatever you feel like. The daughter-in-law don’t have any kind of possession rights over the self acquired property. For any other legal assistance I am just a call away.

You can certainly disconnect the connections but I must put a word of caution here that it will have severe repercussions if she comes to getting notorious. The elder parents are aggrieved and tortured by her behaviour and they can have a domestic violence complaint registered and there are other remedies which I’ll help you with in respect to the police protection.
