Contested Divorce Cross Examination stage

Hi, My wife deserted me in 2018 and I am contesting the divorce from 2021. Now the case status is Cross Examination witness. They have tried all means to drag this case as they took almost 1 year to file objection. Till now there is no DV, 498 or any other case filed. At this stage can they come up DV or 498 to drag this case.

Dear Sir, At this stage they cannot file DV and 498A of IPC. You may go to High Court and get a early disposal direction to the Trial Court and see that your case is disposed off. But there is danger situation that the Trial Court may give judgment against you as you got such orders from the Higher Court.
