contest transfer of divorce case

26-Jun-2026 (In Divorce Law)
I am filing for divorce at wife's matrimonial place. I have some problem in my spine and have medical report. She will apply to transfer to her place. Two questions Q1 My lawyer says only this won't be enough to appeal to transfer to middle place. I need to mention threat to life. Does it work that way as judge would know of such tricks already? Q2 her lawyer is asking to file under 13b and bargaining on the money like trading. Can I record the conversation and complain?

Dear Sir To be frank Regarding Q1 your medical reports showing a genuine spine condition constitute a valid ground for requesting a transfer to a middle place or retaining the current venue as courts consider health and physical disability serious factors Falsely alleging a threat to life without proof is highly risky and judges can often see through such strategies which could damage your credibility entirely Regarding Q2 negotiation and settlement talks for a mutual consent divorce under Section 13B are standard legal practices and bargaining over alimony is common and not illegal Recording a consultation or negotiation without consent may not be admissible as clean evidence and since settlement talks are privileged complaining about bargaining will generally not help your case

first thing is you need not quote wild reasons like threat to life in order to resist a transfer of this case to your wife's place. you can reply up on the medical proof of problem in your spine and argue that you are advised due to avoid a travel your second question is about recording the talk of your voice lawyer- this will not help because I there you agree for a mutual or you don't agree but a judge cannot be allowed to come in between this matter.
