Concealment of mental illness remedy

06-Aug-2024 (In Divorce Law)
If I am able to prove there was concealment of mental illness before marriage. I do understand it treated as fraud. So is my remedy only to file civil lawsuit for compensation only or I can also file criminal charges against respondent and in laws

you can file case seeking orders to declare the marriage as null and void. Apart from that, you can also initiate criminal complaint against that person for cheating also. Once you could prove that prior to marriage, the mentioned is undergoing treatment for metal illness which he never disclosed either before or after marriage to you
