Clarification on divorce jurisdiction

My district is thrissur and wife district is idduki. I made the marriage registration in thrissur, in which court divorce case process happen.

In both districts divorce petition can be processed. Also if any1 of u presently resides or employed at somewhere else, petition can be filed at those places also. Also place where u lastly cohabitted as hus n wife also attracts jurisdiction. Hope am upto ur query

Divorce application can be filed before the family court Trisure.If it is the joint petition it will take the time of hardly six months to get the judgement.If the matter is in the nature of contesting it will take further 2 years.
