Claim during mutual consent divorce, can wife claim share in property?

During the mutual consent divorce, can any of the parties (particularly the wife) claim share or right on properties or assets of in-laws?

It depends upon the mutual decision of the parties if wife asks for share of property and husband agrees to give the same then case will be solved quickly or else if husband disagrees to give the same then contested divorce which will take more time to end the matter.

Yes wife can claim during mutual concent divorce . Divorce is not mean that wife cannot claim any . After divorce if wife remarried then wife claim will be unlawfull and wife can't claim any , its no relation for claim and divorce

No,during mutual divorce as per Section 13B of The Hindu Marraige Act of 1955 one cannot claim share or right on properties or assets of in-laws, but can claim money from her husband as maintenance to maintain herself after divorce.

In the event of mutual consent divorce if maintenance amount as demanded by the wife is not contested then scope for dispute is not there however in the event of an issue scope for maintenance is mandated by law.
