Cheating/ refused to get married

I invested 4 years of my life in a relationship with someone who promised to marry me. He even committed to getting engaged this November, and I patiently waited for him for the past 2 years. Now, when the time has come, he tells me he's unsure about marrying me. His words make it clear he’s backing out of his promises. I’m hurt and betrayed. I never expected the person I supported and trusted so deeply to leave me with nothing but broken promises.

Well, if you engaged physically with him on the promise of marriage, then, you can file a case against him on breaking his promise to marry. He need to have circumstances beyond his control in order to not marry you, otherwise, he will be booked for Rape.
