I am currently divorced and was in a relationship with a man who promised to marry me accept my daughter and in lieu course had physical relationship

Yes. If this is the case and if you feel cheated then you can simply file a case against the person for sexual intercourse on the pretext of marriage. It should also be mentioned that your name and your identity will not be disclosed during the pendency of the case by anyone.
