Cheating and Abusive Husband - What documents do I require

I’m confused on what kind of divorce to file. I’m Muslim. My husband has been unfaithful to me since the beginning which I found out after 2 years of marriage. Counselled with psychologist, he later suggested psychiatrist for my husband as he has some disorder. But there’s no change, he still goes on dates, meets people, he has also had intercourse with at least one of the college students I know of by booking hotel room and dates many students. He is Professor. He also is physically abusive.

Dear Madam, The narration given by you indicates that your husband do not require any psychologist treatment. You may file Divorce on the ground of adultery since he is having intimacy with many girls. You will get Divorce with huge alimony and during the pendency of such Divorce case you are also entitled for interim maintenance.

if you are finacially not fully dependent on your husband and/or have some support from the side of your parents or siblings you can file for partial maintenance also from him. after coming ont from him.
