Chargesheet timeline and bail options

FIR in 498a is filed but chargesheet not filed since 6 months. Can it be pushed by any means by the boy ?

hi first need to see whethet the boy is still in custody then he could apply for bail on the ground that chargesheet is not filed and that if the police is not filing chargsheet then you coud file petition to direct to them to file chargesheet
