Canadian husband not accepting service

I am an indian citizen and I got married to a canadian citizen last year. They were doing fraud with us and we applied for a null and void of marriage but they are not accepting the court service papers now and we have to send them again. I am suffering for no fault of mine. What can I do?

Nowadays service of summons can also be executed by WhatsApp and through email. You must convince the court and take it down in the order sheet regarding service of the summons through all electronic modes also. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

Greetings for the day, For effective notice , you may serve them through the Indian embassy in Canada. Courts also accept serving of notice through whatsapp and email as well. Serve them through all modes.

If the other side is deliberately avoiding service then it may be possible to proceed ex parte in the case. However this is a prima facie opinion and for a fuller opinion detailed discussion is required. It is also important to check under which law you got married in India.
