Can we move abroad without divorce

Hi my name is Anusha am a Hindu and I am from Hyderabad. Due to domestic violence issues I have got separated from my husband 6months ago and I wanted to get divorced but he is not ready for that.. I have not filed any petition yet. now I got an opportunity to move abroad for higher studies. My query is can I go abroad in this situation without getting legally divorced? Will there be any legal actions imposed on me by my husband for leaving India without any proper settlement? Will there be any restrictions for me? Please help..
