can we ask time for 41 (A) CrPC notice

My brother have filed for divorce. Later my brother's wife filed a case in telangana PS of domestic violence. So my family received 41(A) CRPC notice to attend before the police station on May 1st. However 1 month later my family received another notice on March 13th to attend before the police station on March 11th for the same FIR. We have actually prepared to attend for May 1st. Can we write a letter to the IO that we will attend for July 18th ?

hi first need to see the that why two notices were issued in the 1st place and if both the notices are on similar grounds then you could file quash petition to quash the same as it is based on same offemce and you could request time by stating valid reasons
