You may be entitled to alimony based on factors like your standard of living, your husband's income, and the overall circumstances of the marriage. I can help you assess your case and guide you on the amount you may be able to claim.

Yes. If you are not earning well and you are not having enough sources to maintain your standard of living as that you were having while living with your husband, then you can surely ask for alimony from your husband.

see the alimony depends on the standard of living of the husband but it also depends on how much you are earning, the court looks for both the factors, like if you are earning too little on which you can't take care of yourself or your children then obviously you can demand more. However, if you are earning well then you can't demand too much.

Yes, you can seek alimony based on the standard of living enjoyed during marriage. The court considers the husband's income, your needs, liabilities, lifestyle, assets and both parties' financial status, not income alone.

Yes, you can seek alimony/maintenance based on the standard of living enjoyed during the marriage. However, there is no fixed percentage merely because the husband earns ₹1 lakh per month. The court considers several factors, including the husband's actual net income, liabilities, assets, the wife's income (if any), duration of marriage, lifestyle, children's expenses, and the reasonable needs of both parties. If you are seeking maintenance, file complete details of your monthly expenses and, if possible, place proof of the husband's income and lifestyle before the court. Based on the evidence, the court will determine a fair and reasonable amount.
