In Indian divorce proceedings, a mangalsutra is generally considered the wife's Stridhan, meaning it is her exclusive property and she is not legally required to return it to her husband. Stridhan encompasses all gifts given to a woman before, during, or after marriage, granting her full ownership rights. However, in the case of a mutual consent divorce, the couple may mutually agree on its return. After divorce, keeping, selling, or returning the mangalsutra is a personal choice for the woman. While some retain it as a symbol of their past, others may remove it to signify closure, but legally she has no obligation to return it.

Hello Mam, the Thali chain can be claimed by the Husband since it's a property got by him and he has given to you. now since there is a divorce case is pending between you guys, he is claiming his property (Thali chain). likewise if you have any jewels purchased by your parents and has given at the time of marriage and you have given to him in the sense, you can also claim your jewels because it's your property.
