Can the divorce be filed within 1 year of marriage?

My friends case. Is it possible to file for divorce within 1 year of marriage? My frnd n his wife lived together only for 2 months n now she is staying in parental house since 7 months. He wants divorce n she wants restitution. They have not filed any case. He wants to file divorce now. Married on 01.02.2017. Is divorce possible now?
It is impossible in present Indian Law for any religion. It is stated that the wife wants restitution and husband wants an urgent divorce. Even if it a matter of mutual consent it would need one year from marriage to file.

why your friend thinking about divorce, and you talk first with his wife for what purpose she went to her parents house and why she not returned to matrimonial house, than decide to give legal notice from your advocate regarding to come back or approach to give mutual divorce only from your counsel.
