Can my husband get a divorce without giving me and my kids any maintenance only because i have a better job.
What about his inherited property and its succession to my kids,after divorce?
In muslim law can he marry without his wifes consent?
Usally divorce and maintenance are filed as separte petitions. If he files for divorse and you resist that divorce, you may use maintenance as compensation during settlement. If you file maintenance under 125 crpc, if he could prove that you have a better job then you may not get maintenance but regardless of your earning your kids will get maintenance and ancestral property through succession. Under muslim law he could marry without your permission.

Your husband can very well get a divorce without providing maintenance. But you can file applications before concerned magistrate as well as family court for getting provisions for your children and yourself till you remarry
