Can I take house loan now and start construction in my parents propert

My wife filed sec9, I filed sec13 1 ia. Court counseling failed. I am not ready to continue with her. No kids. She was working women before separation earning up to 1 lakh per month. I have private job. Can I take house loan now and start construction in my parents property and can I show liabilities as I have loan to the court?

hi alocious here, I can well understand your concern from the query raised, a fresh loan will still be considered as a liability by the court however there is no certainty that it can lower your alimony or maintenance which the court awards thank you, you can contact me for further clarifications

you can construct your own property in your own land but unless and until the wife status continues if after your demise the property share will go to your wife completely along with your mother if you have no mother then the property will completely go to your wife so it is better to obtain divorce not to go for the property to your wife
