Can I file for divorce after 1 year separation

15-May-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hi Sir/ Ma'am - My wife had filed 3 cases against me MC, DVC, 498A, which are eventually absolute false cases. Maintenance Case is dismissed by court. DVC & 498A cases are in progress. We got married in May 2016 as per Christian rituals, and separated in May 2017. Since it has been one year we are living separately can I file divorce in May 2018 ? If yes request you to suggest some strong grounds, I am worried if she denies for divorce now.

the divorce case that you intend to initiate has to be based on proper grounds which the courts should eventually be convinced are proper for orderding the decree of divorce. Certain grounds are mentioned in the Act and other grounds can be taken based on factual information shared by you. Irrespective of her denial, if they are proper and supported by cogent evidence and your testimony, divorce would be granted.
