Can I file divorce on the bases of cruelty

I am a hindu male, married for 8 years and seeking Divorce on cruelty as she dont want to keep any connection with my family and forcing me to do the same. pls help me with below queries. 1. How long it can take. 2. What the wife argue in the court that now she will change her behavior or trying to change. 3. A average expense in whole process. 4. Living in the same apartment but in different bedrooms can be counted as separate living? 5. Do I need to send any separate notice if in case i need to live separate for 1 year before divorce and what is the process.
Well you can file div petition on the ground of cruelty if you are living desperately without any relation you can file petition u/S 131 (ia) hidumarriage act u need not tosendany notice you can file direct petition regarding the same for expenses and other details you can contact me regarding legal issue generally it take about one year to complete the decree if there is no adjourned

1. Period for disposal can not be ascertained as it depends upon many factors like gravity of case, level of defence taken, pendency of cases in court etc.
2. If she says so then it is for you to decide whether or not you want divorce.
3. Expenses are normally of two types court expenses and lawyer fees which depends on experience and status of the lawyer. Hence can not be quantified by me.
4. If you can prove that you and wife are living separately and having no cohabitation for one year . Then no need to live in separate flat.
5. There is no mandatory requirement for sending notice .
