Can I apply for a divorce case on my wife, she put harassment, dowry and I have illegal relationship case on me. In this case can I file a divorce case on her. My lawyer is telling there will be more lose from my side or he is telling we can't file a divorce case when u have an fir. Could someone explain what are the consequences. We have a 1 year kid, can I ask the custody of my kid.

hi you could file for divorce against your wife and thwre is no bar on filing divorce if you have FIR pending on your name and that you could file quash petition to quash the FIR and you could file for petition for visitation rights in court
