Can husband file for divorce without giving alimony to wife
24-Sep-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Cybercrime case filed by wife against husband. Now Husband is trying to seek divorce based on previous Financial case of court which was settled. Can the husband survive the trail without giving alimony to the wife
HI,
financial case of that person is different from the divorce case. he is at liberty to file case against his wife
but he must prove his case with proper evidence. in case of divorce wife can ask for the permanent alimony from her husband. he can not escape his liability unless case is settled outside the court.

Hi
Alimony is based on economic conditions of the wife and not on cases/counter cases filed by the husband and the wife.
the husband can avoid alimony if he can demonstrate to the court that
a) wife had walked out of relationship and
b) wife is working and has land and building properties that she has earned/inherited.
