Can divorce proceedings be transferred from one city to other

My husband sent divorce notice to me. Now I am in Bangalore. He filed in Delhi. Can I transfer it to bangalore
Yes, but you have to file a transfer petition in Supreme Court as it is transfer from State to State. It is expensive and but you will get it transferred. Divorce cannot be given that easily. You just assured. Rest in person.

Madam, u have not filled the vakalat in the case so can not request for transfer, u can transfer a case from Delhi to Bangalore by taking permission from supreme court once u file vakalat/ appear In the case and contest the case. And if the court feels the reason to be true/right.

Yes, you can get the Divorce case transferred to your city. As per the Family court Act, it favour the female respondent to get the divorce case transferred to the city where she is residing. You need file transfer petition to the Supreme Court of India as it relates to the outer-state transfer.
