Can divorce be filed on grounds of desertion if wife living seperately

M belong to sikh family .. i want divorce on desertion base coz we r living separate from 3 years my wife is not ready to give me divorce.she is greedy for money help me

Sir you can file divorce on the ground of cruelty and dissertion and can seek divorce from your wife and if she is greedy for money you need not give her any penny . You can file divorce under section 13 Hindu marriage act.

You can file divorce on ground of desertion and cruelty.for desertion minimum sepraration period is two years.but desertion should be wilful.if you want to know more you are free to call

You can file divorce petition under section 13 (1) a, b of Hindu Marriage Act 1955 on the ground of cruelty and desertion. If wife living separately and relinquished the company of husband without any reasonable cause then it can be the valid ground to get the divorce.
