Can Alimony be asked during the Divorce Case Trials

I filed RCR in the year 2021 May, and my wife contested it. however most of the time she was not attending the court proceedings. So i withdrew the RCR and intiated a Divorce Case. I know that she will file for Alimony. Wanted to know can she ask for alimony in this present Divorce case or she needs to file a new case. On what grounds can we push to rule out the Alimony request in the present Divorce Case.

hi divorce and alimony aee two different things and she could for maintenance even though divorce is pending and inorder to deny maintenance then you need to prove that she had wilfully left the home without any reasons
